Solutions for Every Plumbing Need

From clogged drains to whole-house repipes, here’s what we handle across Deep East Texas.

Not sure which service covers your situation?

You’ll speak with Nicholas or a plumber directly, not an answering service.

Real Plumbing for East Texas Homes and Businesses

Peace of Mind Plumbing is owner-operated by Nicholas Singleton, a Texas Master Plumber (RMP 41912) with more than 35 years of plumbing experience in East Texas. He started this shop after a decade at another company because too many shops were turning plumbers into salespeople. That isn’t how we work. We inspect the problem, explain what’s wrong, quote the repair, and do the work right.

Our customers are homeowners and business owners across six East Texas counties: Nacogdoches, Angelina, Shelby, San Augustine, Rusk, and Cherokee. We handle residential properties, restaurants, retail buildings, offices, and small commercial facilities. When you call, you speak with the owner or a plumber, not an answering service. The same Master Plumber who answers your call is the one who shows up to fix the problem.

We install quality products from Rheem, Delta, Kohler, and Insinkerator.

These brands are chosen because they are not engineered to fail after a few years. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, traditional tank water heaters typically last 10 to 15 years, while properly maintained tankless units can run 20 years or more, so the value is in durability, not in financing programs.

Every new product we source and install carries a 1-year warranty. We are licensed, bonded, and insured. We speak English and Spanish. And whether the job is a single faucet repair or ai full whole-house repipe, you get the same Master Plumber on every visit.

The Plumbing Work We Handle

Our services cover what homes and businesses in East Texas actually run into, from a single faucet repair to a full whole-house repipe. Each category below links to its full page with details, options, and what’s included. Residential and commercial work both welcome.

Tank and tankless water heater install, repair, and maintenance. Includes traditional 40 and 50 gallon units in gas and electric, plus tankless systems with descaling and calcium buildup service. Rheem is our preferred brand for both. We also offer a $225 tankless water heater maintenance service that covers cleaning, descaling, and calcium removal.

Drain cleaning for clogged kitchen, bathroom, shower, and main sewer lines. Sewer line repair, sewer main installation, and residential sewer camera inspection. Tree-root intrusion, broken clay or cast-iron lines, and recurring backups all covered. Most clogs are cleared the same visit.

Hidden leaks behind walls, under slabs, or in supply lines. We locate the source using professional equipment, fix it, and get your water bill back to normal. Slab leaks, pinhole leaks in copper, and aging galvanized supply lines all addressed.

Full repipe for older East Texas homes with aging galvanized, copper, or polybutylene supply lines. PEX or copper, chosen based on the home and the homeowner’s preference. One of our highest-value services for properties with chronic pinhole leaks, low water pressure, or rust-colored water.

Natural gas and propane line install for new appliances, repair on damaged or corroded lines, and gas leak diagnosis. Done to Texas plumbing code by a licensed Master Plumber. Includes gas line sizing for tankless water heaters, generators, ranges, and outdoor grills

Toilet repair and install, faucet repair and install, garbage disposal replacement (Insinkerator preferred), shower and tub valves and trim, outdoor spigots. The everyday plumbing repairs homes and businesses run into. Most are handled in a single visit with the parts on the truck.

Bathroom and kitchen remodel plumbing, vanity swaps, tub-to shower replacements, and rough-in upgrades. We handle the wet space plumbing and fixture work only, no sheetrock or paint. We coordinate with your contractor or work directly with you on the plumbing scope

Rough-ins and full plumbing systems for new construction across East Texas, residential and commercial. Slab plumbing, top-out, and trim-out scopes available. We work with builders, general contractors, and owner-builders on residential and small commercial projects.

Same-day emergency plumbing during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Burst pipe, sudden leak, sewer backup, no  hot water. We get out as fast as scheduling allows. We are not a 24/7 service, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Backflow preventer testing and certification, commercial gas service, kitchen equipment hookup (commercial dishwashers, ice machines, sinks), and commercial sewer camera inspection and line locating. The full commercial plumbing scope for restaurants, retail, offices, and property managers across East Texas.

Not Sure What You Need?

Plumbing problems don’t always come with a clear label. Here’s a quick way to figure out which service to call, with a link straight to the right page.

No hot water, slow heating, or a leaking tank

That’s a water heater issue. Could be a heating element, a failed thermostat, sediment buildup, or a tank at end of life. If your water heater is over 10 years old and giving you trouble, replacement is often more cost-effective than another repair. Start here.

A drain that won't clear or a sewer backing up

Drain or sewer line problem. Slow drains usually mean a partial clog. Sewer backups, gurgling toilets, or wastewater coming up in a tub can point to tree roots, a broken sewer line, or a main blockage. We clear most clogs the same visit and run a camera if the problem keeps coming back.

A sudden high water bill or a wet spot you can't track down

That’s almost always a hidden leak. The EPA estimates household leaks waste an average of 10,000 gallons per home each year, and roughly 1 trillion gallons are lost nationally to leaks. Our leak detection finds the source without tearing up the house. Start here.

Water flowing now or a pipe just burst

Shut off your main water valve at the meter or where the line enters the house, then call us during business hours for same-day emergency plumbing. If it’s outside our hours, shut the water off, contain the damage as best you can, and call first thing the next morning.

Anything else: toilet, faucet, disposal, gas, remodel, new build, or commercial

General plumbing repair or specialty work. The full list of services is in the section above. Not sure where it fits? Call us at (936) 652-6335 and we’ll point you to the right page or just take care of it.

I called them Friday and they said they’d be out first thing Monday morning and they were here by 8:30. They did high quality repair work on pipes and replaced two sink facets. It looks so much better than before and works like there was never an issue. The best part of this review is they were REASONABLE on charges. Highly recommend!

Questions
We Hear Often

Straight answers. No filler.

Do you give quotes before starting work?

Yes. We inspect the problem on site, explain what’s wrong, and provide a quote before any work begins. No surprise charges, no upsells, no padded line items. If you decide not to move forward, you only pay for the service call. We’d rather lose a job than push someone into work they don’t need.

Both. We handle residential plumbing for homeowners and commercial plumbing for restaurants, retail, offices, and property managers across Nacogdoches, Lufkin, Center, San Augustine, Henderson, and the surrounding East Texas counties. Same Master Plumber on every job, residential or commercial. Backflow testing, kitchen equipment hookup, and commercial sewer camera inspection all in scope.

No. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and we provide same-day emergency response during business hours when scheduling allows. We’d rather give you an honest answer than a false promise. If you have an emergency outside our hours, shut off your main water valve and call us first thing in the morning.

Yes. Nicholas holds a Texas Master Plumber license, RMP 41912. Peace of Mind Plumbing is licensed, bonded, and insured. Every job is performed to current Texas plumbing code, and every new product we source and install carries a 1-year warranty.

No. We focus on honest, fair pricing instead of financing programs. You get a clear quote and pay only for the work that’s actually done. The products we install are chosen because they last, not because they push a payment plan. If a major repair is outside your immediate budget, we’ll talk through scope options with you and prioritize what truly needs attention now versus what can wait.
